1987 - CGTP (trade union congress) scholarship in the Soviet Union. Russian language course at Kiev Preparatory Faculty, Ukraine. 1989 – began Computer Construction Course at Vínitsa Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine. 1990 – transferred to Computer Programming Course at Kiev Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine. 1992 – having returned from the CIS, part-time student at the University of Évora: Process and Energy Engineering; training in a wide range of craft and trade skills. Was also a Student of Plastic Arts, University of Évora. 1999 – learned secrets of ceramics from Masters Orlando Guimarães and António Velho of the Guimarães-Velho Pottery in São Pedro do Corval, Reguengos de Monsaraz. 1998 – sculpted and moulded all pieces created by himself and Magda Ventura, Earth Workshop Gallery

Attended traditional ceramics painting workshops in São Pedro do Corval, Reguengos de Monsaraz. Was a Student of Physics and Chemistry at the University of Évora. Painted and finished all pieces jointly created, Earth Workshop Gallery.
