| | | Each work is individual | | Each piece has its own soul and all we do is give it material form.
Working with a vague idea, Tiago begins modelling and things happen in the heat of the moment – a long moment.

| Keener taking shape | | We always work with background music (we recommend Mozart, Bach, Handel or Madredeus): times for concentration and inspiration which can, however, be interrupted by the visit of some curious friend or other who stops by at the gallery; meanwhile, the first forms emerge and the character of the object begins to take shape ...
You must be ready to listen to what the piece has to say to you: for example the keener. At a certain point in time, the piece will let you know that it is ready for drying ... there is no longer any point in doing more work on it – enough is enough. At this stage, we put it to one side, out of the sun, to dry; the drying process should be slow – as slow as possible – and we only look at the piece again two or three weeks later. |
| Keener in mouth of kiln | | When we take it up again, this time it eyes us a differently. It is now ready for the final stage. We place it in the kiln and adjust the heat to 900ºC. Here it spends two days slowly heating up and then gradually cooling. |
| Magda painting keener | | Here, the keener is painted black, as the occasion demands and the deceased would want; other pieces are decorated in many different colours which emphasise their form and appeal to your dreams ... Magda has a hard task – she has to be extremely patient and listen carefully for the colours which the works communicate to her in whispers. |
